Today the new “socialist” government #PSOE in #lanzarote has decided to censor and remove my artworks the The Rising Tide. After being elected on a promise to fight climate change its first action is to remove and hide an artwork directly about the fossil fuel industry and climate change. It seems it’s manifesto is more aligned with general Franco and his censorship of free art than the environment . As with much of politics the real motive is hidden and can only be revealed by following the deals that are struck with sponsors and their commercial interests.

A huge thank to everybody who has protested and campaigned against this abomination. I am sad to say that they will now try to close and censor museoatlántico .
Public Art belongs to the public and your level of support has been sincerely moving.
